The big pan is to feed 10 guys next weekend. The small pans are to freeze for future lasagna cravings.

I've just heard that you don't need to precook the noodles. I'm super curious about that. It's the extra step that usually prevents me from making several pans.

My dad and I have been using the no pre-cook noodles for a while now. Once it’s baked you really can’t tell that they’re any different.

You’ll have to come pick it up, I don’t do delivery

Do you need more sauce/cheese to make them cook or do you just use the same sauce/meats/cheese as usual?

The same as usual. Since the noodles absorb all the excess moisture you don’t even really need to let the lasagna set after it’s cooked.

Sold. I'll give it a go!

Yes, you don’t need special no boil pasta or to precook regular pasta. They absorb liquid from the sauce and end up perfect.

You don’t need to buy the special no precook pasta. The regular stuff works the same.

I always had a hunch that would work but never wanted to risk a whole pan of lasagna to test it out. I just did what I had been taught to par bake the noodles

I've suspected this. I'll have to try...the regular noods are cheaper.

Worry no more! But the cheaper ones.
